In 1999, the IACA Board of Directors elected to expand the scope of its overall program to seek participation of more jurisdictions from around the globe. The general purpose for developing the International Relations Section is to provide a forum for the exchange of information between countries and service organizations, to assist emerging nations in developing effective registry systems and to allow our current membership to benefit from the experience of others.
