The Business Organization Section (BOS) is open to IACA members who have responsibility for the business entity and nonprofit corporation registration functions in their jurisdictions. The section develops educational programs pertaining to its functional area.
The membership of BOS is taking the lead in developing new technologies affecting the program areas of the Section membership, including XML filing standards and E-Govenment solutions.
The section works closely with other organizations with common interests to effect legal changes and otherwise improve the operation of business registries in all jurisdictions. The members of the section serve as advisor members on a number of committees of the Amercian Bar Association and the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.
